Great place to visit! If you like the young crowd with lots of night life then this is the city for you. Lots of parties and clubs to go to downtown. Only real issue is parking, but you get that with any decent size city. Find a place to stay close to downtown, or save a little cash and Uber it to the main area. Lots of food choices as well.
A surprisingly busy GA airport for its small size, a perfect spot to grab a bit to eat and fuel in the Tampa/St. Pete area. Everyone on the airfield was welcoming, from the tower controller, to the SheltAir staff, and restaurant servers. If you’re on the fence, definitely give KSPG a visit! Thanks for a great stop.
Great little airport and garages/shops to park your airplane or helicopter. I've been here many times, but usually for the St. Petersburg Grand Prix IndyCar event.
Chris was absolutely amazing. My husband booked a 30 minute helicopter ride for my friends and I.
Amazing little airport that is walking distance from shops and restaurants. It has 2 runways, with 3 approaches from the water. There is a flight school, St Peter Air, a restaurant, The Hangar and an FBO, Sheltair. Fuel prices are reasonable for a small class D airport of this size. Most of the traffic is single engine piston but you will get a few turboprops and the occasional small bizjet such as a Pilates 24 or Phenom 100
Nice City with a Lot to do and nice Shops. Love terrance with free trolley ride
So much to do and see!! I had a great time walking around!
The Hangar restaurant is excellent. Their fish tacos are awesome. But the Dali Museum "security" hangs out in the airport parking lot and strong arms restaurant customers. The restaurant customers should not have to pay museum employees to park in the airport parking lot to eat in the airport restaurant.
Very pricey for mediocre food. Nice atmosphere if you like air craft.
Controller was a jerk but we enjoyed the FBO and the restaurant.
